Apps chosen by Hywel Dda to support your Mental Health

Hywel Dda University Health Board has teamed up with ORCHA (The Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps) to select a variety of FREE digital health apps to support your Mental Health. These apps cover a range of suitable topics around Mental Health, including meditation, sleep, anxiety, depression and having support when you most need it.

The Hywel Dda App Library supports all aspects of your Health and Wellbeing, making it easier to start taking care of your own health and wellbeing.  Anyone can use the app library, it's completely free to browse and you don't need to create an account. Give them a try and start feeling better today!

Apps to help manage your type 2 diabetes and reduce your risk

If you are living with type 2 diabetes every day or have a higher risk of developing type 2 diabetes, making healthy lifestyle changes can help with managing this long-term condition. Hywel Dda Health Board have selected a range of apps to help you start making healthy changes.

Hywel Dda University Health Board Digital Health Apps Library - enabling and improving access to digital applications to support our clinical teams and patients with their health and wellbeing

Working in partnership with ORCHA (Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps), Hywel Dda University Health Board Digital have created a Digital Health Application library where clinicians can recommend apps to patients and patients can find apps to support their health and wellbeing with reassurance that they are genuine and have been reviewed by the clinical community. ORCHA review such apps against 350+ criteria relating to Clinical/Professional Assurance, Data and Privacy, and Usability and Accessibility.

Although apps can be a great way to manage health and wellbeing, there are thousands out there so finding the right one can be confusing and knowing which ones have been created with clinical input difficult. The app store will assist clinicians and patients search and compare apps that are safe and effective.

Health applications can be a great way to manage health and wellbeing and can help support patients and service users with common health challenges.
